I think the first and only one show with a laughing track that I’ve ever put up with was Seinfeld. And there was a live audience. But generally, I abhorred them.
Johann Friedrich Von Schiller is probably a brilliant thinker, but he’s a bit too stuffy for me.
I’d rather say, if the person one jokes about is the first one to laugh, that was an excellent joke.
