Clue/Question: They found an inventory of old sparkling water and decided it should be – – –

Answer: LIQUIDATED
(Water is – supposed to be – odorless, so this does not qualify as a stinky pun! Some untreated waters can be high in sulfur, but who would ever bottle that?! Maybe sparkling water “expires”. I wouldn’t really know, as I can’t stand the stuff! But, regular bottled water can’t possibly expire.
We have another new clue word today, in “ridden”! Our friend, ralis95, will once more have to update his world famous clue word database! All four of the jumbles are coming up as new today. They couldn’t stump me though. The answer letter layout was a fun ten letter jumble. Nothing obvious about it.
Fine supermarket scene cartoon. Technically, and actually, “sell-by” and expiration are two different things, but a lot of people, including my lovely wife, don’t seem to understand this. She is very quick to throw things out that are still perfectly good. Don’t waste things needlessly, folks. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
