Sunday Jumble Spoiler – 09/22/19

Clue/Question:  The struggling new owners of the 100-year-old bed & breakfast were – – –

Pre-Answer:  Four Words  “(3-letters)” (4-letters) (5-letters) (5-letters)

Answer:  “INN” OVER THEIR HEADS

(Excellent stinky pun.  Great Sunday Jumble.  So much to like about it.

None of the clue words are new, but five of the jumbles appear to be so.  However, we have definitely seen “tarreh” before.  I thought both “ndatel” and “tyofin” were challenging jumbles.  The answer letter layout was a very impressive seventeen letter jumble.  It did an excellent job of disguising the final answer.  The biggest clue to answering this were the quotation marks.  But, also the look and the words of the woman running the front desk.

Super cartoon!  Great depth and attention to detail.  The guests look like they can’t believe what they’ve gotten themselves into.  The owner hubby looks frazzled, and the owner wife very befuddled.  Really fun Sunday, Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
