Answer: “IN–SEINE“
(Sacré bleu! Quel un calembour malodorant! Almost as stinky as my high school French! With a little help from Google Translate, of course. And, where is Crazy Eddie when you need him? Actually, the store was called Crazy Eddie’s, but the wild man in the commercials was a DJ named Jerry Carroll. The electronics store has been defunct for quite some time, and unless you lived in the Northeastern part of the U.S. you might not even know what the heck I’m talking about. I’m sure Jeff has been there. Probably David L. Hoyt as well. Jeff’s cartoon gives you a good idea of what you’d see from one side of the Seine to the other. Actually, I don’t know which is rive gauche, or rive droit, or if the Eiffel Tower is on the Ile de la Cité, or anything really. I’m just your mouthy uncle. Remember? Any Francophiles out there? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
