Answer:  DEPTH PERCEPTION

(A fairly literal pun!  When I saw that there were fifteen letters in the answer letter layout, and a fairly a-typical cartoon, I thought that this was going to be a difficult solve.  But, I got it immediately.  Did you guys see it right away too???

All of today’s clue words were very familiar old friends.  And, even though all of today’s jumbles came up as new, I saw all the clue words instantly.  The answer letter layout was definitely a very impressive fifteen letters long, which in itself gave away nothing.  But, as I said above, the whole thing just sunk in immediately for me.

I really enjoyed the perspective of today’s cartoon.  I can’t say I remember Jeff doing this kind of overhead shot before.  All with the usual great detail.  Especially the various depths of the fish in the drawing.  Nice job, guys!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
