Clue/Question: He predicted he’d lost a few pounds, but when he was weighed, his wife said – – –

Answer: GUESS “A–GAIN“
( . . . tubby! Wives can be so cruel, sometimes. Husbands can’t afford to be so. They know there’s going to be payback. And, every slight – no matter how small – is stored away in wives total recall memory banks, for future reference! One of my favorite Geico commercials was the one where Mary Todd Lincoln asks Honest Abe if a dress she was wearing made her look fat. Abe was definitely caught between a rock and a hard place.
No new clue words today! Funny how yesterday’s answer had a play on words with “about”, and today it is a clue word. All of the jumbles appear to be new. I guess “epsliv” might have been the more challenging one. The answer letter layout was a wonderful ten letter jumble. It did a fine job of disguising the final answer.
Cute domestic bathroom scene cartoon. The hubby do look a little tubby. He can’t seem to read the scale himself! That’s never a good sign. Probably can’t see his toes in the shower either. His one saving grace is that men tend to lose weight easier, and faster, than women. He’s just going to have to apply himself. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
