Cryptoquote Spoiler – 08/17/19

Image result for George S. Patton

We herd sheep, we drive cattle, we lead people.  Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.”   —   George S. Patton

(Splitting hairs?  I think George was just trying to make it sound a bit more noble when it comes to people.  All three can be lead to the slaughter.  Generals know that certain gains cannot be made without sacrifice.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  GOOD PECKS

(Awesome, stinky pun!  Good pectorals are all well and good, but it looks like he needs to do more curls.  Those are some scrawny biceps!  Maybe he doesn’t want the farmer to consider him for his wings?  Mmm, wings!!!

There are no new clue words today.  Not sure about a few days ago, as I was apparently using an older ralis95 database.  Stupid “updates” wiped out my Downloads!  I do know that yesterday’s “imply” is good as a new word.  Too lazy to double check the rest.  I probably would’ve heard from ralis95 if I’d been incorrect.  All of the jumbles appear to be new today though.  The answer letter layout was a cryptic nine letter jumble.  It hid the final answer very nicely.

Cute barnyard scene.  The rooster looks sufficiently cocky.  And, the hens look like they’re straight out of Warner Brothers central casting.  Fun Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
