(And, I had just announced our big closeout sale! Well, at least I’m insured. But, I really need to get my eyes checked out. I saw Godzilla coming over the horizon, but I convinced myself I was just seeing the Geico Gecko. Talk about bad depth perception!!!
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. However, all of the jumbles appear to be new. The only one I struggled with was “sandui”. I tried to make a SUNDAI out of it, but the word I was thinking of was SUNDAE. That mistake – yes, I can admit to them – left me with only two vowels, for three words. I looked again, and saw “unsaid”. The funny thing is I considered an UN word right off the bat, but just didn’t pickup on “unsaid” at that time. The answer letter layout was a great twelve letter jumble. Nothing obvious about it.
Classic horror/sci-fi movie send up! How many remakes/sequels of Godzilla have been made? He must be right up there with King Kong. For those of you with the reduced size cartoon, or maybe you just didn’t notice – like I originally didn’t – turn the cartoon upside down, and read that bent over sign, below his left foot. Yes, it says: UNCLE RAVE’S USED CARS. LOL! Some of you old-time regulars might remember that Jumble cartoon, from a number of years ago. Lots of fun, guys! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
