Answer: BEAR WITNESS
(And, we didn’t even need quotation marks! Sure, it’s a groaner of a pun, but that’s what makes the Jumble so much fun! Maybe the guys will do other animal courtroom scenes! They could have a weasel lawyer – no, that’s not a redundancy – ferreting out the truth! I’m sure there are plenty of other animal court puns pending.
I hope ralis95 is reading his emails today, because Hoyt has given us another new clue word, in “strewn”! I was semi-surprised not to see it on the world famous clue word database. We’ve seen both “wetse” and “sinbo” as jumbles before, but the other two appear to be new. The answer letter layout was a fine eleven letter jumble. But, there aren’t many ways to hide a bear on the witness stand.
Cute courtroom cartoon. Chemical, and human sewage dumping is a big no-no! But, do you know that municipal – and corporate – water sources have “allowable contaminant levels”. Mainly because the water is going to be treated before it’s piped back to the consumers. Some things are unavoidable, I guess. But, those “allowable levels” might shock you none-the-less. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
