Jumble Spoiler – 08/06/19

Answer:  PITFALL

(I guess the kid said it all:  “Wow!  That stinks.”  The pun, that is.  The overall Jumble was great.

No new clue words today.  But, all of the jumbles are coming up as new.  Both “opays” and “fixnul” tripped me up for a few seconds.  The answer letter layout was a fine seven letter jumble.  But, the answer was pretty obvious to me.

I’ve been to L.A. many times, but I’ve never seen the La Brea tar pits.  I’ll try to make a point of it next trip.  Fine cartoon.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
