Donald TrumpU. S. President Donald Trump (the grio.com)

Dear Donald,

We’ve had it, and I hope sincerely that you are not reëlected. Millions of Americans and millions of human beings on Planet Earth have to suffer paralyzing and deadly heat waves, while you dismiss “climate change” as “fake news.”

I would also like to speak to you about the fate of women in your country. Do not think for one minute that a woman should always be exposed to unwanted, not to mention yearly, pregnancies. Open planned-parenthood facilities, so women never have to undergo a life-threatening and unwanted abortion. The life of a woman is dear to her, dear to her husband/partner, and dear to her family. Let women be.

As well, tackle doctors. They deserve an excellent salary, but in no way do they need to be very wealthy. They may well be more compassionate than you thought…

We learn from experience that men never learn anything from experience.”   —   George Bernard Shaw

(Definitely a little tongue-in-cheek, but not all that far from the truth.  Even the smartest of us are fairly simple creatures.  Either that, or as a race we are possibly . . . insane!  We do seem to keep expecting different results, from doing the same darn things!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  SPACED OUT

(I’m sure our Indian readers – and general space geeks – already knew this, but this actually happened in February of 2017!  They broke the Russian’s record of 37 satellites on a single rocket, back in June of 2014.  I can’t remember if I ever heard of it, or not.  We are constantly inundated with stories of:  investigations, and scandals, and domestic shootings, and international atrocities, that I just might have missed this story.  Or, it was a here today, gone tomorrow kind of story.  Maybe Anthony Weiner did another massively stupid thing the next day???  Whatever.  The Indians currently hold the record.

No new clue words today.  Maybe Hoyt is getting to the end of his list!  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with only “ldaas” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was a nice nine letter jumble.  It disguised the final answer very well.

Fine cartoon of a couple of Indian gentlemen at their launch site.  Must be big-wigs!  Apparently it is the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in SriharikotaSriharikota is a barrier island in the Bay of Bengal.  I wonder if it’s a popular tourist attraction, like Kennedy Space Center in Florida, or the Johnson Space Center in Houston.  No doubt.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
