(A pun-ctual stinky pun!  Why these two bros are by the shore is neither here nor there, as far as this Jumble goes, but I’m guessing there is some kind of personal connection to Jeff going on here.

None of today’s clue words came up as new today.  ralis95 can rest easy.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with only “veeal” having definitely been used before.  The only one to give me any trouble was “tecrim”.  I even attempted to back into it, but without the missing ETI the final answer was far from apparent.  I went back to it.  I didn’t have to write out dozens of combinations, or anything.  It just finally clicked.  I guess I’m just the typical American, who can’t seem to think metrically.  We WERE making progress back in the ’70s and early ’80s, but Uncle Ronnie pulled the plug on the metrification board.  Almost all of the products that we buy are in both the Imperial and Metric measurements, but we’re skewed to the Imperial.  Looks like it’s the US, Liberia, and Myanmar, holding the line on the Imperial System!  What a motley crew!

Cool cartoon.  Friends of Jeff’s?  Possibly twins?  Any excuse to squeeze in the classic sinking sailboat is always alright by me.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

    You moved up in the “Cool Brain” celebrity status chart** For real; Terrific fact/find!

    Now Business: As I PADDLEd HARDER towards shore I caught a SNIFF of Java in the air. As I became excited, my tired muscles seemed to get more BULKY (boo,sry)…..
    Unfortunately, the coffee was sooo old my cup felt like a HAS “BEAN”…{{The show must go on}}

    Fun puzzle but the cartoon was a little off-beat.

    I like using metric measurements when doing things so I don’t have to find what the halfway point of 23 and 13/16″ is. Metric is so much easier. Plus, I was a miniatures gamer when I was younger and we used 1/1000 scale for distances. Which for us is, 1mm = 1meter. After awhile, I could estimate distances by eye. Which made eyeballing project sizes a lot easier. 😀

    We were all pretty much on our way there, Damid, before they pulled the plug. Given a little more time, I’m sure we all could have converted. — YUR
