(Ahh!  A return to the stinky pun!  You could argue that yesterday’s answer wasn’t really a pun.  Or, at least it was a pretty tame pun.  But, today’s is a Grade-A stinker of a pun.  A true groaner!  So, of course I like it.

All of today’s clue words are already members of the world famous ralis95 clue word database.  However, all of the jumbles appear to be new.  I was able to see all the clue words immediately though.  The answer letter layout was a well-crafted, eight letter jumble.  It disguised the final answer nicely.

Fun soccer/football cartoon.  I guess that’s the owner talking to the scout.  If Jeff wanted to be more trendy and leading-edge he should have made the players young women, instead of young men.  By the way, big Congrats to the U.S. Women’s National Team for winning the 2019 World Cup!  I really loved the Lavelle goal!  It was one of the best games I’ve ever seen played, men or women!  The Dutch women really made them work for the win!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
