Answer:  SHEAR DELIGHT

(A very cute Jumble pun!  It reminds me of when I was five years old.  I had learned how to use scissors in kindergarten, so when I got home I cut off big chunks of my baby sister’s long blond hair . . . to make spaghetti!  She was three, so she didn’t care.  When my mom came in the room, and seen what I’d done, she started bawling!  And then, that got my sister crying!  What is it with you chicks, and all the drama???  LOL!  Mom had to give my sister a pixie cut.  And, of course, it eventually grew back.  But, I was in the dog house for a while.  I don’t think she spanked me for it, but she could have.  I had more than my share of spankings when I was young.  I can’t stand today’s mentality that spankings are “child abuse”.  Rubbish!  Thanks, for the memory, guys!

Hey, ralis95!  Holiday is over, buddy!  Yep, David L. Hoyt has given us yet another *new* clue word, in “collar”.  Back to the world famous clue word salt mines!  I kind of had the feeling that it might be new, as I kind of hedge my bets filling out the squares, semi backing into it.  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, with “deyse” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was a wonderful twelve letter jumble.  Nothing obvious about it, at all.  I was completely in tune with the quotation marks today.

Fun cartoon of the little girl’s bedroom.  It looks like she cut up a bunch of her clothes, AND she gave HERSELF a bit of a haircut!  Kind of a reverse Mohawk!  LOL!  I wonder if her mom is gonna cry?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Ouch! Didn’t have any trouble with COLLAR, but it took me an average-busting six-and-a-half minutes to stumble into SHEAR and then quickly get the rest. Nice job, D&J.
