(A very mild Monday Jumble pun. A homonym/homograph kind of pun. There’s a lot of crossover with the two. It didn’t make me laugh, so I guess I wouldn’t call it a groaner.
Somebody call Ripley’s! Believe it, or not, we have a new clue word today in . . . “cheese”! The world famous ralis95 clue word database has: cheek, cheer, cheery and cheesy, but no “cheese”! Like my Mama used to say: Who’da thunk it? All of the jumbles appear to be new today. The answer letter layout was a nice nine letter jumble, but it couldn’t disguise the final answer enough.
The characters in the cartoon look very specific. They must be friends, or family, of Jeff’s. It’s very hard to make out what kind of business is being handed over. Perhaps Jeff will enlighten us. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
