In the case of many poets, the most important thing for them to do is to write as little as possible.”   —   T. S. Eliot

(Who better qualified to make such a statement?  I’ve never had the patience for long poems.  I prefer haikus . . . and limericks.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  PAIL IN COMPARISON

(Ooh!  A good, stinky pun.  Smells like low tide!  But, that’s one of the many things that make for a great Jumble.  Of course the other things are challenging jumbles and a great cartoon.  So, the guys are hitting on all cylinders today!

David L. Hoyt has served up yet another new clue word today, in “midair”.  Our old pal, ralis95, will once again have to update his world famous clue word database.  Four of the jumbles are coming up as new, with both “casmio” and “apindu” having definitely been used before.  Very impressive, sixteen letter, answer letter layout jumble.  Nothing obvious about it, to my eye.

Great seaside cartoon!  All the kids are sufficiently cute, we’ve got a wave in the water, and a distant pier with people on it.  And, there’s a classic sinking sailboat on the horizon.  And, there appears to be a gull way up the beach too.  The complete Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
