Clue/Question: Ben Franklin’s daughter dented the stove, but it didn’t bother the – – –
Pre-Answer: Two “Words” “(5-letters)-(4-letters)” (6-letters)

Answer: “FOUND–DING“ FATHER
(Those Franklin stoves were pretty darn sturdy! Just ask ralis95! LOL! I’d like to wish ralis95, Jeff and David, and all the dads out there, a very Happy Father’s Day! Mine has been dead for nearly 14 years, and he would have turned 85 today! We’d often alternate. Some years his birthday and Father’s Day fell on the same day, and other years it would be my birthday and Father’s Day.
A little surprisingly, none of today’s clue words are new. I thought that possibly “tirade” and “legacy” might be, but no. Four of the jumbles are coming up as new, with “dartie” and droove” having been used before. All great jumbles. The answer letter layout was a challenging fifteen letter jumble. Nothing obvious there.
Cute period piece cartoon, showing Ben Franklin and his little girl, Sarah. Better that she hit the stove with that poker, and not Ben’s leg! Be well and do good, friends. Be good to your dads!) — YUR
