Jumble Spoiler – 06/12/19

Clue/Question:  King Arthur’s meeting at the round table was turning into an – – –

Answer:  ALL-“KNIGHTER“

(Just send them a chain-mail!  This was a classic stinky pun.  A royal groaner!  At least it looks like King Arthur provided some libations.  Probably mead.  Too sweet, for my taste!

I suspected that one of today’s clue words might be new, but it turns out that two are new.  I figured that “online” was new, but was surprised to NOT find “cigar” on the world famous, ralis95 clue word database!  I just thought that I struggled a little with “cigar” because of my non-smoking bias, not because it’s new.  At least I didn’t have to back into it.  All of today’s jumbles are coming up as new.  The answer letter layout was a noble jumble of eleven letters.  Nothing ungallant about it.

Fine castle cartoon.  Kind of a sausage-fest though.  I like the torch sconces.  Is that “brave” Sir Robin, with the chicken insignia?  I’m pretty sure it was Lancelot who was the ladies man, so he’s probably the one sporting the Playboy bunny logo  Maybe that’s where Hef got the idea!  LOL!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
