Clue/Question: They saw the warning about the grizzlies which they would need to – – –

Answer: BEAR IN MIND
(An all natural pun! I enjoy hiking, and I really appreciate all wildlife. But Grizzly bears just scare the bejesus out of me! I may be a Davy, but I ain’t no Crockett! I haven’t had it lately, but I’ve had a recurring dream/semi-nightmare, since I was a kid, about being stalked by a bear. I can’t recall ever being mauled by it, but the stalking was relentless. I wonder what shrinks, and dream interpreters, make of such dreams? I have tempted fate with black bears, at some rural dumps, but they are so used to humans they’re almost like big dogs. Just don’t try to pet them, or get in-between mama and her cubs!
All of today’s jumbles are coming up as new! And two of them gave me fits, and apparently for good reason, as they appear to be new words. It took me a few looks to see “raisin”. I’m relatively certain we have had that word before, but it is not in the database of 02/23/2019. We either had it since then, or it was in a Sunday Jumble before I *coded* the subject line to alert ralis95 of new words in Sunday Jumbles. But, the real killer for me was “canola”! I had to resort to backing into it. Fortunately, the final answer was pretty obvious, to me, so putting the N and the A in the circles was a BIG help. So, our good friend, ralis95, can add two new words to his world famous Jumble clue word database! The answer letter layout was a fine ten letter jumble. I don’t think it gave anything away.
Great hiking trail cartoon. The hikers look prepared, and sufficiently concerned. I would definitely have second thoughts about continuing. Would one of those canned air horns scare the Grizzlies off? Or, would they just eat those too? Ohh! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
