Answer:  TABLE OF CONTENTS

(Ah!  A literal/figurative pun.  For me, today’s final answer was much easier than some of the jumbles.  The last time I saw a buffet like this was at a gallery exhibition where my stepson was showing some works.  It was a little fancier actually.  This one looks a little more like an office party.

We actually have another new clue word toady, in “unroll”.  Señor ralis95 will once again have to update his world famous clue word database!  Five of the six jumbles appear to be new.  We’ve seen “taxfie” sometime before.  It took a couple of looks for me to get “suburb” from “sruubb”.  But, I nearly had to back into “catnip”, as “cpaint” had me stymied for a while.  I wanted the N to be an M, so it could be impact.  Then I wanted an additional A, so I could make it captain.  Good jumbles.  The answer letter layout was a fine fifteen letter jumble.  It was far from obvious, as the cartoon and the clue/question set up the final answer exceptionally well, for me.

Fine cartoon of a conference lunch buffet.  It looks like they have a nice variety of delectable goodies.  I thought the lady reading the contents from the side of the jar was a bit unnecessary.  But, the guys seem to think we absolutely need a bonus clue for some of these.  Oh, well.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I wasted a lot of time on the broken Flash version of this online Jumble puzzle on this date. See https://www.seattletimes.com/games-universal/?amu=/iwin-jumble (and then you have to select “06-02-19” after clicking the calendar icon near the upper right–I can’t link you directly to the broken Sunday puzzle.)

I thought of TABLE OF CONTENTS as a solution that fits the clue, cartoon and grid, but the needed letters aren’t offered.. Instead of the correct letters for TABLE OF CONTENTS, “CTSBFTENOLAOTNE” which Unc cites, after solving the six regular words, we are offered “CATSBBITUOLABONG,” which lead nowhere. If you type in “TABLE OF CONTENTS,” you do not get credit for solving the puzzle. So you keep trying. But it’s unsolvable at the time of my posting.

For years I’ve had to battle the inability to correct letters entered only in the final answer of the Sunday puzzle in its Flash version; if you want to change even one letter you’ve typed in the final answer on Sunday there, the only way to do it is to Reset the puzzle and retype the six regular words. And then every month or two on average for several years, we’ve had an error like this that made the Sunday puzzle unsolvable. But over most of the past year, it’s been much better… until June 3rd. There’s no excuse for sloppy puzzle editing like this.

I wasn’t even aware that there was an online Sunday Jumble, David! But, you know me, I’m a dinosaur who prefers low tech reliability. — YUR
