A poet poem is never finished, only abandoned.”   —   Paul Valery

(This might be one more reason why I’m NOT a big fan of poetry.  So many of the poets kind of have this woe is me attitude.  Someone get this guy a puppy!  LOL!.  We welcome Monsieur Valéry to the Cryptoquote Club today.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  How’d you do on this one, Roy?     YUR

It never occurred to me that it could be “poem”.  Poet just seemed to fit, so I went with it.  My bad.  Apologies to the poets, and readers of this blog.   —   YUR

Oops, the correct quote is a “poem” is never finished, so no “woe is me” by Mr. Valery.

I assumed the quote started A POEM, instead of A POET, giving it a much less negative sentiment …

All the gentlemen are – apparently – correct! I’ll take their word for it. But, don’t expect me to proof these darn things! LOL! Correction pending. — YUR
