Clue/Question: The new tuxedo rental store was designed by its owner and – – –
Answer: BUILT TO SUIT
(I like it. It’s a little different, but still a good pun. I wonder if any/many of you struggled with it. A nice way of closing out the work week.
“Su-prise, su-prise, su-prise!” Where is Gomer Pyle, when you need him? “Would you believe . . . ” – Maxwell Smart – that “supply” is a *new* clue word? Well, apparently it is. Our wise old friend, ralis95, will soon be adding this everyday word to his world famous clue word database. Three of today’s jumbles are coming up as new, with “ttuna” having definitely been used sometime in the past. The answer letter layout was a DANDY eleven letter jumble. All the T’s and U’s helped to get the final answer.
Nice outside shot of a commercial clothing venture. Our boy, Jeff, is as good a cartoonist, as our friend Hoyt is a wordsmith puzzler! Two top-notch pros, who exemplify good teamwork. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Hey there Unc, the word banish was the most difficult for me. Once I got it, was embarrassed it took so long. After that, the word suit was a given & the B… well felt kind of easy at last. The week had seemed a little tough so a fun Friday solve was ok. Always good to read & hear from you, Unc, my favorite Uncle. Have a gr8 weekend, my friend.
Ok, on the Scramble Word JOIST the word “Joust” was on my mind…
A little tid-bit: In most movies and TV shows that portrayed Jousting; they were fights/battles to the death. This is a misleading scenario, for these Jousts
were mainly in the Sporting Event mode**
With all the armor & shields used, death was a rare outcome??^
Now back to JOIST. In my humble opinion you may go to Social Gatherings, for exmp. 10 yrs,
and never here JOIST used in conversation.
The logical way for this too occur would a group of contractors, carpenters, housing inspectors and the like…
Nice Friday Game!
Great weekend to allll))))
Always a pleasure to hear from you, Barbara Ann! — YUR 🙂
