Clue/Question: When she found out the headphones were on sale, it was – – –
Answer: MUSIC TO HER EARS
(Punnerful! Punnerful! Besides fond memories of sort of being forced to watch The Lawrence Welk Show – before cable we were very limited in channels and shows – I also have great memories of my brother singing along to Yes, wearing headphones! Painfully off key, messing up about half of the lyrics, and loud as hell. But, he always had a big smile on his face! I think it was from their “Fragile” album. “Roundabout” and “Long Distance Runaround”. Great songs. Much better when Yes sings them!
We have been spared any new clue words today. However, all of the jumbles appear to be new. I got them all immediately. The answer letter layout was a Wunnerfully cryptic fourteen letter jumble. It hid the answer splendidly.
Fine music shop cartoon. “Second Spin”! I like both of their tee shirts. The guy with the record spindle adapter, and the girl with a Lady Gaga shirt. I still think “A Star Is Born” got ripped off at the Oscars! It was a very moving film, and better overall than “Bohemian Rhapsody”, which I did enjoy, but not as much as Star. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

The album in front of the ‘W’ tab is by Weezer, but I haven’t worked out what the ‘V’ album is
I hope the young Lady doesn’t get CRAMPS from the STICKY PRUNEs she CHOOSE from the corner store….??
She then saw a Sales sign on a another store that was very close-by. After entering this establishment, to her surprise, some “Groovy”(lol) headphones were price-cut 50%. Our Young Lady tried them and thought they were Great!!..
“MUSIC TO HER EARS” She proclaimed!***

That is a tough one, Type. All I can think of is Van Halen, or Stevie Ray Vaughn. — YUR
Type Writer, it’s like you don’t even know me. The W is one of Wilco’s most iconic albums, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. If there was an album I would recommend to those of you new to Wilco, that would be it. The V album is one of the great Albums of the 80’s the Violent Femmes first one. Every song is a keeper. In the back, is The White Album. Weezer? Really?
Actually, I’m the one who should have figured the W was for Wilco! And, I’m a little embarrassed that I didn’t think of the Violent Femmes. I try not to consider any music *after my time*, but they were introduced to me by my stepson. Great band, and a great album! Those guys, the Chili Peppers, and Jane’s Addiction were probably my favorite groups from that era. But, what do you have against Weezer? They may have gotten a little too commercial, but their early stuff was always good.

I meant to say Wilco (can you tell I’m not really a fan? 🙂 )
S’all good, my friend! Jeff’s just a bit of a Wilco snob! LOL! — YUR
