Visual Description: Mr. and Mrs. Cottontail?
MELPI = IMPEL, ORDUP = PROUD, TURFHO = FOURTH, CIYPER = PRICEY — Giving us: PELPOUOHPCY
Clue/Question: The rabbits had been married for years and were a – – –
Answer: “HOPPY“ COUPLE
(Oh, yeah. That’s definitely a stinker. It’s the kind of pun that makes most people groan. WordPress does not even recognize “hoppy” as a real word. Merriam Webster’s does, but only in the context of certain beers and ales. And, you guys know me . . . easy on the hops!
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “turfho” being the only jumble we’ve definitely seen before. The answer letter layout was a wonderful eleven letter jumble. Nothing obvious about it. The clue/question and the great cartoon set up the answer very nicely.
I love the cartoon! It’s kind of has a Beatrix Potter meets Warner Bros. meets J.R.R. Tolkien feel to it. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

The male rabbit felt so PROUD/Fortunate he had such a wonderful wife, he felt IMPELed to buy her a rather PRICEY anniversary gift. This was their FOURTH year married and they still sensed they were Newlyweds!!♡♡♡♡.
His wife said an expensive gift wasn’t really
necessary. If he would have brought her just a
“Pogo Stick”(lol) she would still think strongly
they were a “HOPPY COUPLE”**£
Isn’t Love Grand???
Hey!, somebody said/asked that before ¡¡¡¡>>☆
Have great fun at the “Old Hasenda”
