Alexandra Dillon is a Los Angeles surrealist artist who paints characters on brushes and other worn objects. She uses old pieces that she recycles as a support to her portraits, stimulating her creativity through the shapes of axes, bolts and other choppers.

“In my current work, I paint on worn paintbrushes, many which have been donated by other artists.” Why paint in a traditional way when you can innovate using any object that comes to hand?This is the subject of the creative project put in place by Alexandra Dillon.This artist enjoys diverting everyday objects to turn them into real faces.
