(Tough) Jumble Spoiler – 05/03/19

Clue/Question:  She was becoming angrier, but, after thinking about it, it was – – –

Answer:  MIND OVER “MADDER“

(A great pun!  And, one that took some time to come to me.  At first I thought one of the four letter words was either MORE or MOVE.  Then I thought that the six letter word might be DRIVEN, but the quotation marks didn’t seem to support that.  MADDER finally sunk in, but then I saw IRON, and then MOVE again, before MIND OVER hit me.  This was a little scary for me.  I usually see the answer right away.

None of today’s clue words are new.  Two of the jumbles appear to be new, with both “nirkd” and “doore” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was a very impressive fourteen letter jumble.  It did a great job of hiding the answer from me.
