Visual Description: Thinking of his baby girl?
VUGAA = GUAVA, MHOUR = HUMOR, KRYAEB = BAKERY, GORDAN = DRAGON — Giving us: GAAHUORBERDRG
Clue/Question: The tugboat operator was not very forgiving, and known to – – –
Answer: HARBOR A GRUDGE
(I like this one! A great groaner of a pun. I haven’t heard anyone use the phrase harboring a grudge in some time, but it’s a fine phrase. Jeff could have drawn any harbor, but . . .
All of today’s clue words are current residents of the world famous ralis95 clue word database. However, all of their jumbles appear to be new. I’d say that “guava” is probably the most exotic of the words. But, I was able to see all the words right off the bat. The answer letter layout is a beautifully cryptic thirteen letter jumble. It disguised the final answer very nicely. The cartoon’s dialog, and the clue/question led me to an immediate solve though.
Great cartoon of feuding tugboat captains, on Sydney Harbor. You see Jeff’s usual attention to detail. The Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I also like the tug’s little portico for water to drain out. Very entertaining Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Unclerave: Just to be clear, the tug boat’s deck drain you pointed out today is a scupper. “Portico” is an architectural, not nautical term. It is “…a porch leading to the entrance of a building, or extended as a colonnade, with a roof structure over a walkway, supported by columns or enclosed by walls.”
Maybe the autocomplete function on your computer or phone steered you in the wrong direction. No matter what, your readers are more forgiving than the tugboat operator.
I appreciate your work. It is always interesting hearing from you every day.

“HARBORing A GRUDGE” is kinda like having an evil DRAGON, in spirit form, giving you advice on your life changing decisions. It will eventually eat away at your soul and health
(or healing).
A rather simple{silly?} alternative; Go to a
BAKERY and get a warm drink or coffee with a fresh donut.{GUAVA?No) Maybe read or listen to something/someone who has a good degree
of HUMOR in it/them.
If the evil starts to work on you, Rebuke it immediately!! (Like; Leave now, in the Name of
your Higher Power, you have No right to be here at all. Be Gone^^^**)
I understand I may have gone a little too much
for this site. Character flaw??
May your weekend be safe and relaxing**
Thank you for the wake up call, Wheeler! I never would’ve come up with “scupper” on my own! But, I can’t blame any kind of autocomplete. That was all me. One big swing and a miss! I was trying to think of the word for a small windowlike opening, while the word “porthole” was creeping around in my decaying gray matter. I was actually looking for fenestra, but the port led me down the “portico”. I will leave my mistake up there, along with these comments, so posterity can see my foibles.
Thank you also for being a steady reader. — YUR
Too far??? No, no, no. I appreciate all of your jocularity, Ken. Keep it up, brother.
