Answer:  STUFF HIS FACE

(A fitting stinky pun!  A well known idiom, but I don’t know when it was first used.  I don’t remember it being used when I was a kid.  Maybe, sometime in my teen years? I guess it wouldn’t have been considered “polite talk” back before then.  At least not in my household.  But, it is descriptive.

We actually have a new clue word today, in “scampi”.  I guess ralis95 will have to add this to his world famous clue word database.  I had to back into it, because I always just considered it an Italian style of cooking shrimp.  I never realized how redundant “shrimp scampi” is.  Scampi are essentially a type of shrimp, or prawns.  A little annoying, in that sense.  But, I pays it no nevermind.  I won’t eat no bottom feeders.  “Fluff” isn’t new, but I noticed that FLUFFY is not in the database.  Are you gittin’ this, Hoyt? All of the jumbles are coming up as new.  The answer letter layout is a cryptic twelve letter jumble.  Just knowing the answer was three words, and the length of the words, helped me to get the final answer.  Even without “scampi”.

And of course, the cartoon did a great job of showing the guy stuffing his face!  I liked all the finished products, both on the wall and on the table/work bench.  I guess you’d almost have to call taxidermy an art-form.  But, the job is a little too gruesome, for my tastes.  I guess I’d rather watch animals in a zoo.  Or, better yet, in the wild.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Ironically, we had CAMPUS just a few days ago, so my first thought was CAMPIS. I wonder if that taxidermist was gobbling down a shrimp poboy?

If your a MATURE Taxidermist you will use the
proper FLUFF to do your job without SCAMPI-
    ng on your task…
    Doesn’t sound FISHY to me!!

Oxymoron:{¿?} The man was being very prudent and thinking of his health as he “STUFFed HIS FACE” fully…♡☆☆

Happy Friday Uncle Rave! I have considered using FLUFFY before but I found that no matter I Jumbled it up, it was too easy to solve with the Y and the three F’s. It almost reads as FLUFFY no matter how I scrambled it. But I’ll use it at some point on a Monday or Tuesday puzzle. And in related news…A friend of mine took my database and created a computer program that spit all the possible remaining English words that only unscramble into themselves. So I now have a list of a new words to add into the Jumble mix. They need to be thoroughly vetted, but you’ll see them starting in about three weeks. Many of them will be usable. I’ll be mixing them slowly. The bad news is that there aren’t quite as many as I would have guessed. There are a fixed number of words in the English language that only unscramble themselves and we are getting close to the end of the line in regard to using them in the Jumble puzzle. But I think you and everyone will enjoy these new words as I slowing add them starting in a few weeks. That’s the update from Jumble Central. Have a great weekend!

Awesome news on the future new clue words, David! I kind of figured we might be nearing the beginning of the end. It had to happen. But, there are always going to be some Jumble clue words that are pretty obvious. I wouldn’t completely give up on FLUFFY for that reason. Thanks for commenting, cuz.

Excellent “scoop” from David L. Hoyt! I’m eager to see the new words, but I still love the Old Faithfuls.

I think we should call words that only unscramble into themselves “prime” and words that unscramble into other words “composite.”

I’ve got no problem with that, muse. But, the Jumble really only deals in “prime” clue words. — YUR
