Answer: FISH OUT OF WATER
(One of my favorite adages! I love a good fish out of water story. There probably have been others, but my three favorites have always been: “Northern Exposure”, “3rd Rock from the Sun”, and “The Beverly Hillbillies”. To a much lesser extent, I also liked “Green Acres”. I’m a little curious about a new show coming to ABC, “Bless This Mess”, which looks to be a combination/ripoff of “Green Acres” and the movie “The Money Pit”. I don’t watch sitcoms all that much these days, but I’ll give it a shot.
All of today’s clue words are of the MeTV ilk. Though, all of their jumbles appear to be first-run, new episodes. I was able to see the clue words right off the bat. The answer letter layout was a magnificent fourteen letter jumble. It definitely did not give anything away. The wiser fish’s comment was a big hint, as was the clue/question.
Great fresh water cartoon. Beautifully rendered fish, in the weeds, and a very impressive lure cutting through the water. If you look closely, you’ll see an old can of Billy Beer half submerged in the stream or lake bottom. Billy was the *hick* brother of President Jimmy Carter, whose main job was to embarrass the entire family. I probably had a can or two, back in the day, but it definitely was not memorable. Just a novelty. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
