(Could there possibly BE a stinkier pun than this??? This is the kind of pun that every middle school kid can relate to. Elementary school kids might sweat, but they generally don’t have a funk until they start approaching puberty. I guess it’s a hormonal thing. We all have fairly unique scents, but society has taught us to keep them at bay. I think George Carlin had a quip about wearing bay leaves under his armpits. It won’t stop the sweat, but you’ll smell like soup! Man, I miss that guy.
All four of the clue words are ralis95 clue word database hall of famers. There was no hesitation for me this morning. Only “puypg” appears to be a new jumble, with the other three having definitely been used before. The answer letter layout was a fine seven letter jumble. Good job, David Hoyt!
The cartoon shows them filming the commercial in the pit area of a race track, with a couple of the pit crew changing a tire. Based on Jeff’s drawing, and part of the dialog, I’m guessing this is Tony Kanaan, the Brazilian racer. What do you guys think? Do the photos I chose look like the drawing? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
