WOLYL = LOWLY, RAFDU = FRAUD, PORPEC = COPPER, POSYOK = SPOOKY — Giving us: WYRDOESK
Clue/Question: They wanted to make sure the locksmith’s new website had enough – – –

Answer: KEYWORDS
(I’m not even sure I realized that “keywords” was a legitimate compound word. Left to my own devices, I would have made it two words. Either way it’s still a good stinky pun! One thing that locksmiths are known for is making new keys, but they do so much more than that. And, not every lock uses a key! Unless you consider a combination a type of key.
All of today’s clue words are old favorites. But, all of the jumbles appear to be new. One thing I noticed, in checking the ralis95 clue word database, is that they’ve used the words “spoof” and “spooky”, but NOT “spook”! So, if David L. is paying attention . . . The answer letter layout was a great eight letter jumble. Nicely cryptic.
Fun locksmith cartoon. I like the safe, and the different locks on the wall. The guy looks like a locksmith! Hey, Smitty! You wouldn’t happen to be a locksmith, would you??? A good Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
