Clue/Question: The podiatrist had a fancy new office and had enough patients to – – –
Answer: FOOT THE BILL
(This is a very stinky pun, of a profession that has the high potential of being pretty stinky. I think I might prefer being a gynecologist, or even a gastroenterologist, than being a podiatrist. I’m fairly familiar with all the related smells, but really stinky feet skeeve me more than those other parts of the body. I know they have to be clinical about such things, and they even build up a kind of resistance to bad odors, but stinky feet can be uber-nasty!
All old familiar clue words today. However, two of the jumbles did come up as new. We’ve seen both “colkb” and “trohet” sometime before. The jumble “tecmir” did trip me up for a minute or two. I guess I’m a typical American, who has problems with anything metric! The answer letter layout was a nice eleven letter jumble. Nothing obvious about it.
Standard doctor office cartoon. I liked the model foot on a stand, next to what looks like a fortune plant, or maybe a bamboo plant. Are they related? Hmm. Not sure if these are friends of Jeff’s, or just a couple of semi-generic dudes. Be well and do good, friends. Always practice good hygiene when going to these doctors!) — YUR
