Clue/Question: After touching down on the Moon, Buzz Aldrin told Neil Armstrong to – – –

Answer: STEP ON IT
(I guess if old Neil had stumbled going down the ladder, and landed on his butt, he would have been the first man to sit on the Moon! Boy, would that have been embarrassing! *One small step for man. One giant whoops . . . plop for mankind!* Not exactly something one wants to read in the history books. But, our Neil was one prepared, and professional, ambulator. Neil passed on in 2012, but Buzz is still kicking it! The space race made these guys – and many others – the heroes of my childhood.
All of today’s clue words are as familiar as many of those original astronauts’ names. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “punti” having definitely been used before. “Pompom” is one of those words that can also be spelled pom-pom, or simply pom pom. WordPress accepts all three! The answer letter layout was a very nice, eight letter jumble. It hid the final answer very well.
Fun spaceman cartoon! The spacesuits were believable, as was the hatch of the L.E.M.. I’m guessing they’re looking out on the Sea of Tranquility. It’s not related to any anniversary, or birthday, so I’m guessing this might have something to do with yesterday’s Super Moon. I saw it clearly the night before, but last night it was shrouded in haze where I am. Still pretty cool though. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
