“The Hollywood tradition I like best is called ‘sucking up to the stars’.” — Johnny Carson
(Carson and Letterman were the best hosts of late night talk shows, in my opinion. I think Kimmel is the best of the current crop, but I watch Colbert. Colbert is extremely talented, and intelligent, but he just goes too far. And, he’s got a really big head, metaphorically speaking. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Unc,
Apparently you didn’t like my favorite: Jay Leno.
He had a sly style to his humor.
I always liked Jay as a stand up comedian, lwc. But, I didn’t like the way he got the Tonight Show, which should have gone to Letterman. I also didn’t care for his monologues, because they were a tad corny for my taste and leaned decidedly to the right. And then, I didn’t like the way he came out of “retirement” and wrested the show away from Conan O’Brien. But, I understand how Jay might have played to much of the Mid-West. — YUR
