Clue/Question: The conch soup was quite expensive, but customers were happy to – – –

Answer: SHELL OUT FOR IT
(A great pun, of an uncommon dish! I couldn’t tell you if it stinks, or not, as I’ve never had conch soup before. I did once have shark fin soup, at a Chinese wedding once. At first they wouldn’t tell me what it was. I think it might be illegal in New York, and some other states, because of the cruel killing of sharks, just for the stinking fins! I was not impressed with the flavor, and I didn’t notice any medicinal benefits. I guess conch would kinda be like a big escargot!
No new clue words today, and only two of the jumbles came up as new. We’ve definitely seen “uhiss” and “gotoes” before. By now, I’m sure most people have heard of “sushi”, but might not have tried it. It’s probably more common on the coasts, than in the heartland. The “lemur” is a rather unusual animal. They are native only to the island of Madagascar. If it weren’t for the cartoon movie(s) “Madagascar” I think a lot of people would never have heard of them. The answer letter layout was a brilliant thirteen letter jumble. It did a fine job of disguising the final answer.
Nice tropical cartoon. I could use a real tropical vacation right about now. Relaxing under a grass hut at the beach sounds pretty good to me. Gotta love the classic sinking sailboat on the horizon! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
