Answer: AS THE “CREW“ FLIES
(Another great Sunday Jumble! And, a great stinky pun! Even though “as the crow flies” is more of a rural expression, I think most of you were able to figure it out.
All of today’s clue words are old favorites again. Five of the jumbles appear to be new, with only “hurncc” having definitely been used before. I was in the zone this morning, so I got all of them right away. The answer letter layout was a splendid fourteen letter jumble, but again, I was in the zone. So, the answer just came to me.
Great cartoon of an airliner. The flight crew are the main characters. There are a few passengers. You can see the overhead bins. But, the star of the show is the refreshment cart! All the drawers and bins, with the urn of coffee and the cans of soda and juice. It looks like the one attendant is holding boxes of sweet rolls. Fine cartoon and a fine Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
