Clue/Question: Her jeans had worn out and were – – –
Pre-Answer: Four Words (2-letters) (5-letters) (4-letters) (4-letters)

Answer: ON THEIR LAST LEGS
(A fairly challenging Jumble all around! I’m not hearing any major groans, so the pun couldn’t be all that stinky. I’m just surprised that the teen is so agreeable. They’re usually a little more contrary.
All of the clue words are members of the six letter clue word hall of fame. All very recognizable. However, all of the jumbles came up as new! A couple of them I even found fairly challenging, in “eehirt” and “brupse”. The answer letter layout was a beautiful 15-letter jumble. Nothing obvious there. I was certain that the 5-leet word was THEIR, and one of the 4-letter words was LAST. But, I thought the other 4-letter word might be LONG, which only left me with EN. It took a few minutes to come around to the correct final answer.
Nice domestic scene cartoon. A typical teen’s room, with clothes on the floor. I see that dad is a Michigan fan! LOL! Is there still a market for distressed jeans??? I’ve definitely got a few pairs hanging around, if anyone knows anyone who is interested. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
