Clue/Question: She could hand-sew a hem very quickly and made it – – –

Answer: “SEAM“ EASY
(Ooh! A very stinky pun! At first, I thought this was a very 21st Century scenario, and it was some kind of same sex marriage proposal. But, that was before I read the dialog and clue/question. Live and learn!
No new clue words today. Two of the jumbles came up as new, with “semys” and “cnecta” having definitely been used before. The clue word “accent” spells out in alphabetical order. None of these jumbles were particularly tough. The answer letter layout was a decent jumble, but the clue/question made the answer seem easy.
The cartoon was pretty standard fare. One lady hemming another. Nice boots. That’s about it. Be well and do well, friends.) — YUR
