Sunday Jumble Spoiler – 02/17/19 (Hey, ralis95!)

Visual Description:  Prêt-à-por·ter peeve.

WRCEUF  =  CURFEW,  OREKBR  =  BROKER,  KALECC  =  CACKLE,  OMHOCS  =  SMOOCH,  GTONTE  =  GOTTEN,  ALWWLO  =  WALLOW   —   Giving us:  UREOERACEMHOTEWLW

Clue/Question:  The fashion model refused to try on anything and would soon – – –

Pre-Answer:  Four Words  (4-letters)  (3-letters)  (3-letters)  (7-letters)

Answer:  WEAR OUT HER WELCOME

(Of course, hardly any of these get-ups are “Ready To Wear”, but that’s the fashion biz, folks!  Outrageousness, and ostentatiousness, is the name of the game.  High fashion is a weird . . . art.  It’s kind of hard to call it a business, because most of the pieces would have such a limited clientele.  Tall, extremely thin, usually young, and very wealthy.  And, other than galas and other artsy events, where and when would you wear these pieces?  It’s more art than anything else.

We actually seem to have a new clue word for the world famous ralis95 clue word database, in “wallow”.  It sounds familiar to me, but what do I know?  I’m just your friendly neighborhood spoiler man.  Hey, Marvel.  Call me!  Every single jumble came up as new.  All pretty decent too.  But, it’s the answer letter layout that takes the cake.  It’s a 17-letter masterpiece that disguised the final answer very nicely.  Great job, David!  I think the designer’s bit of dialog was the biggest clue.

Fun cartoon of a fashion shoot.  We have the model, the dresser, the photographer, the designer, a rack of outfits, and softbox lights in the background.  Jeff must really be up on his “Just Shoot Me” and “Ugly Betty”!  Hey, I loved those shows!  And, I’m a beer guzzling, chili eating, stink-making, man’s man!  But, I also love a good quiche, so make what you will of that.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Heh! I had to come here for the solution after a week of working on this puzzle. Only CURFEW really stumped me. Also, the solution, though I tried many combinations, was elusive!
