Clue/Question:  He needed to get started on his new novel and would begin – – –

Answer:  “WRITE“ NOW

(What are you gonna do?  When are you gonna do it?  Combine the two and what do you get?  Today’s Jumble answer!  When I saw the cartoon, I thought that the answer might be a little more specific.  This didn’t have to be Stephen King.  But, it was.  Okie doke then.

All of today’s clue words are oldies but goodies.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “lwwiol” having definitely been used before.  The clue word “empty” spells out in alphabetical order.  The answer letter layout was a nice eight letter jumble.  I didn’t find anything obvious about it.

Fine likeness of Stephen King . . . the younger?  Ol’ Stephen is getting up there!  But, you’re only as old as you feel.  Right?  With his kinda dough, and a supportive wife and family, I’m sure he’s holding up alright.  I just checked, and it’s even a good likeness of his wife, Tabitha!  Nice job, guys.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
