(Excellent football pun. Only stinky if you’re not a fan. SO much to like about today’s Jumble. First, and foremost, there is NO Tom Brady! LOL! Although, I wouldn’t mind seeing a Jumble with his missus, Giselle. She is smokin’!
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. Yet, all of their jumbles are coming up as new. I was trying to come up with deceive, before I saw “device”. But that was the only one to give me pause. Some of my favorite clue words today, in “placid”, “goatee”, and especially “absurd”! I just love that word! The answer letter layout was an excellent jumble. It disguised the final answer perfectly.
Super cartoon! That coach does not look familiar, but we can let that slide. I’m hoping to see plenty of completions from Jared Goff to Robert Woods. But, I’m also hoping to see Todd Gurley run wild.
