(A continuation on the action theme!  Maybe Rebecca is upset, or frustrated, with a significant other, being all talk and no action!  Who knows?  Today’s was a little tough for me, as my newspaper split it up kind of funny.  The first two letters of BEST started on line one, and continued on line two.  Then, the word THOUGHTS started on line two, and continued onto line three.  And, I had to make a semi-logical assumption on the author’s last name too.  Hope I was correct!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  PIN DOWN A TIME

(As in bowling pin!  Ya gotta love it!  A classic groaner of a pun.  Sure, a little stinky.  But, that’s what makes them fun!  I couldn’t find a good “pin down” pic, but I did find this cute bowling pin-up pic!

Believe it, or not, we actually have two new clue words today.  The first one is “conned”, and the second one is”tidier”.  Our old pal, ralis95, can add these two bad boys to his world famous clue word database.  I hesitated – a little – on “tidier”, but gave into it.  All four jumbles appear to be new.  The answer letter layout was a superb 12-letter jumble.  I don’t think it gave anything away.  You really had to pickup on the totality of today’s Jumble to get the answer.

Fine bowling buddies cartoon.  These could be a couple of famous former professional bowlers, or just some of David or Jeff’s friends or relatives.  One’s a Bob, and the other is either a Dan, Dave, or Don.  Loved the bowling shirts, and the bowling bag.  You might call the bowling pin trophies kind of a bonus clue.  Fun way to close out the work week.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
