Cryptoquote Spoiler – 01/10/19

Most of us never stop to consider our blessings; rather, we spend the day only thinking about our problems.”   —   Bernie Siegel

(I thought that was what the nights were for!  Not getting to sleep, or suddenly waking up, wondering how we’re going to pay this debt, or get past this problem.  My days are full of recognizing my blessings.  It’s the nights that are killing me!  LOL!  It looks like our Puzzle Friends are continuing with their gratitude jag.  But, that’s okay.  We all need these healthy reminders, from time to time.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Jumble Spoiler – 01/10/19

Visual Description:  Fire dance.

AULFW  =  AWFUL,  KIDNR  =  DRINK,  SEWBOT  =  BESTOW,  XEOPES  =  EXPOSE   —   Giving us:  AWDKSTOSE

Clue/Question:  After teaching the scouts how to build a campfire, the troop leader – – –

Answer:  WAS STOKED

(Radical, duude!  That is one gnarly fire!  He’s totally amped.  This is going to be a bitchin’ marshmallow roast, brah!  Truly epic.  It’s funny how surfing terms have made their way into the vernacular.  Of course the words existed before the sport of surfing, but the surfing world made these words the expressions that they are today.

Today’s clue words are all oldies but goodies.  Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “sewbot” having definitely been used some time before.  But, they were all good.  The answer letter layout was a wonderful jumble too.

Fun camping scene cartoon.  The scouts sitting around the campfire, each holding a stick with a marshmallow.  Trees in the background, a pup tent to the side, and a next log up.  That dancing troop leader better watch his step!  Lots of fun, folks.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
