Jumble Spoiler – 01/09/19

SHOEU  =  HOUSE,  RFADT  =  DRAFT,  CURPSE  =  SPRUCE,  UNRRNE  =  RUNNER   —   Giving us:  HOUDATSPENN

Clue/Question:  The court case against the manufacturer of the faulty windows was – – –

Answer:  OPEN AND SHUT

(It looks like those windows didn’t quite shut right.  Even if they’re just a little bit open, they’re going to let undesirable air in, and desired air out.  What a . . . pane.  Oh, c’mon now!  You had to know that I’d go there!  One stinky pun always deserves another.  Well, usually.

No surprise clue words today.  We’ve seen ’em all before.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “curpse” having definitely been used before.  I found them all to be easy solves.  The answer letter layout was a fine jumble.  I would’ve switched “runner” and “spruce”, to make it just a teeny bit more difficult.

Second great courtroom scene Jumble in under a week.  The defense attorney looks positively shattered.  It’s curtains for him!  LOL!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
