Answer: GET WITH THE PROGRAM
(I like it! It is a good stinky pun. It reminds me of my tech days. But, the people I worked with were normal programmers, and not gamer programmers. I’m sure there must be some well-groomed gamer programmers out there. Stereotypes make for funnier puns though.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. I thought that “garish” might be new, but no. Every single one of the jumbles came up as new today. I thought that they all had an element of difficulty. The answer letter layout was a very impressive 17-letter jumble. I felt it gave away absolutely nothing. It took me a couple of minutes before I caught on to where they were going.
Great grunge-worthy cartoon. I’m betting that it’s a little funky in that room. I mean, I know they’re on a deadline, but I’m glad I’m not there! Fun Sunday Jumble! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

In my mind, the stereotype started with Apple’s Steve Wozniak. Woz had that long haired, grungy look while Steve Jobs was slightly more clean cut in the beginning, but a cleaned up once Apple really got going. I always thought Woz was the tech guy.
At the end of my career, ran a DoD programming shop. Our biggest projects had hard deadlines, usually multiple deadlines from multiple offices all at once, but as we were in a nice, new office building with other folks, it never was grungy. It was basically the pinnacle of my career, satisfying everybody by getting done on time and under budget. 😀
Sounds like an old fashioned notion known as . . . professionalism, Damid! — YUR
The only part that was stereotypical for us was we were all into pizza. To the point that one guy sometimes went out at lunchtime for a quick take out. And it wasn’t a personal, it was a medium at least. 😀 For my part, I got yelled at once when I let slip I had leftover pizza lying around in the fridge. 😀
