Answer:  GET THE HANG OF IT

(Okay.  I get it.  Baby steps.  It’s the first day of a new year, some of us might be a little hungover, yada yada yada, so let’s make this a gimme.  It’s okay.  We know they’ll get more challenging as time goes on.

All of today’s clue words are old favorites, and one of the jumbles – “galee” – has been used before.  The other three are coming up as new.  The answer letter layout didn’t give anything away.  The cartoon and clue/question set this one up perfectly.  This is one of those that most could probably solve without even unscrambling the jumbles.

Fine cartoon.  Hanging wallpaper is definitely harder than most people think.  That paper though!  Way too dark, way too busy.  It’s also going to make the room look smaller.  But, they’ll learn!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
