(José Feliciano is rolling in his grave over this!  Wait!  He’s NOT dead.  As a matter of fact, he is a big fan of Uncle Rave’s Wordy Weblog.  He reads me every day.  Yes, he subscribes to my special braille edition.  Sometimes he complains that I post my spoilers too late in the day.  And of course, I always apologize . . . from the bottom of My heart.  😉

All of today’s clue words are familiar ol’ amigos!  Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “lival”  having definitely been used before.  It actually took me a few looks to get “villa”.  I also ended up backing in to “finale”, so good job on the jumbles, Hoyt!  The answer letter layout was a swell 13-letter jumble.  It gave away nothing.  The cartoon, and the clue/question, along with the answer’s quotation marks set it all up nicely.

Fun classroom cartoon.  Great map, showing Spain, Portugal, a little bit of France and the Mediterranean . . . and even North Africa.  Teach is wearing one bright/loud Christmas sweater!  Fun Christmas eve Jumble.  Que tengas/tenga/tengáis/tengan una Navidad llena de amor, alegría y salud!  And as always, be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
