Pre-Answer: Five Words (and a given) (2-letters) (4-letters) (5-letters) (2-letters) THE (4-letters)

Answer: AT THAT THIS POINT IN THE GAME
(A very impressive, albeit stinky, pun. I think it qualifies as both literal and figurative. A goal counts as one point, and that moment within the chronological confines of the game counts as a point in time. But, you all knew that.
Our old pal ralis95 does not do the Sunday Jumble, so he has nothing to worry about, as far as new clue words go. However, all of the jumbles appear to be new. As good as they were, none of them tripped me up any. The answer letter layout was a very impressive 17-letter jumble. Nothing about it screamed out the answer.
Great Soccer cartoon. It captures both “the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat”. Truth be told, the term Football IS more descriptive of the game, but American Football kicks Soccer’s butt! Plus, I enjoy pissing off the Limeys! At most the Limey Soccer matches there is generally more action in the stands than on the field. Bunch of drunken hooligans! LOL! Gotta love how the Jumblers are beating the Sudokus too. Hey, ya gotta root for the home team! Fun Sunday Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
