Visual Description: Mispronunciation bar.
WNEUD = UNWED, PRIVE = VIPER, VGENOR = GOVERN, ARROTO = ORATOR — Giving us: UEDPRGOROO
Clue/Question: The new bartender got to know his customers by establishing a – – –

Answer: GOOD “RE–POUR“
(This pun works much better for those of you who mispronounce the word RAPPORT. It’s originally a French word for a friendly, or harmonious relationship. Fortunately, we all seem to get the second part of the word correct, and don’t pronounce the T. But, the first part of the word is supposed to be pronounced with the soft A sound, as in WRAP. In England they pronounce it with the soft E sound as in REP. How some Americans came up with the RE-PORE pronunciation is beyond me . . . but it’s incorrect.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends, yet all of their jumbles appear to be new. I saw the first three right away, but I had to stutter a bit in getting “orator”. A very nice 10-letter jumble for the answer letter layout. I bet some of you were trying to make something with UP! Until I read the clue/question, that was the direction I was heading immediately after writing out the answer letter layout. The big clue came from the clue/question, with “establishing a —“. From there, I knew where the boys were headed.
Cute wine bar scene cartoon. The bartender is sporting a man-bun! I don’t dig those, but I know they’re popular in some circles. Just like the three to four day growth of scruff. There’s also the guys who could have a full head of hair, but they shave their heads, mainly for the convenience of not having to shampoo, and dry, and brush/comb. And, those are usually the guys who like to sport a big bushy beard! The ladies at the bar look to be enjoying themselves, and I guess that’s the main thing. Be well and do something good for others, friends.) — YUR
