Clue/Question: The thief who stole credit card numbers and used them to make purchases was – – –
Pre-Answer: Three Words (6-letters) (2-letters) (7-letters)
Answer: GUILTY AS CHARGED
(Hey. He charged his illicit purchases, so he’s GUILTY! It looks like he was captured on video, so he definitely was caught red-handed. Do any of you feel bad for the guy? I sure don’t! The shlub.
There don’t appear to be any new clue words today. But, it looks like all of the jumbles are coming up as new. I had a little trouble getting both “grocer” and “grille”. I actually saw “grille” early on, but figured that it wasn’t a real current word, sort of like “shoppe”. I thought it was likely archaic, and wouldn’t be considered a valid clue word. But, after getting the final answer, and seeing that I needed the G and I, I had to give into it. “Prance” was pretty much hiding in plain sight! The answer letter layout was a very impressive 15-letter jumble. Not obvious in the least.
Fine courtroom cartoon. I liked how the visual evidence was on display. The photo above shows exhibit A and B. The felon looks like a lowlife, and his lawyer looks like the classic shyster, with the pencil mustache and cheesy comb-over. The judge isn’t having any of it. Fun Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I actually completed a Sunday jumble for a change. Didn’t have too much trouble with the clue words though my questionable word was Uproot. But it did take a bit to get the answer. As usual, I tried to list all the possible two letter words given the letters available. After that, I got the rest. 🙂
